Second project at Graven Hill!

A'Bear and Ball Architects LLP are very pleased to have been commissioned to design our second new self build home at Graven Hill. The Graven Hill  site near Bicester is described as ‘the UK’s most exciting self-build and custom build opportunity’

Building on the experience gained from taking our first project through the planning stages with Graven Hill, we are excited by the opportunity to deliver another larger 4 bedroom dwelling at this innovative site and to extend our track record in this sector. The ‘plot passport’ approach to planning compliance on these homes offers fantastic opportunity for bold contemporary architecture utilising modern methods of construction and delivering ultra low energy performance.  

The image below is a render of our first 3 bedroom dwelling scheme at the site which is to incorporate a highly insulated prefabricated SIPS timber frame superstructure offering speed and simplicity of construction with high thermal performance.
