Celebrate World Architecture Day

World Architecture Day was set up to show appreciation for architects and to celebrate great architectural works across the globe. It was established in 2005 by the Union International des Architects (UIA) and is observed annually on the first Monday in October. The 2019 theme for World Architecture Day on 7 October is “Architecture…housing for all”.

Architecture is something to celebrate as the industry plays a pivotal role in planning for the future, supporting population growth, and tackling social issues. And a well-designed building or home can completely transform a space.

The impact of good design

Quality design enhances all of our lives daily whether at home, in the workplace, or in society. It’s even been said that design and architecture can make stronger communities. By creating spaces that are practical and inspirational, people’s lives can be directly improved by architecture.

Over the years, innovation in the architecture industry has helped us live happier and more efficient lives. At A’Bear & Ball Architects, we strive to add value to people’s quality of life by creating wonderful spaces through modern design.

On World Architecture Day, take time to notice the architecture around you. If you’re interested in looking at modern residential designs for inspiration, take a look through A’Bear & Ball Architects’ portfolio.
