Award-winning Tun House

A'Bear & Ball Architects has won another award - the Architecture Single Residence Award for Oxfordshire for Tun House at the UK Property Awards.

Designed as a contemporary family home in the historic village of Uffington, Tun House demonstrates our commitment to creating architecture that is contextually responsive, sustainable and beautifully crafted. The project combines contemporary design with Passivhaus-informed principles, achieving exceptional energy performance whilst responding sensitively to its conservation area setting.

Tun House was conceived as a low-energy family home designed for long-term adaptability, featuring high levels of insulation, triple glazing, solar PV with battery storage and an air source heat pump to deliver a negative carbon (in-use) environmental performance.
