RIBA's Guerrilla Tactics: Understanding the Developer Mindset Conference

A’Bear & Ball Architects attended the Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) Guerrilla Tactics: Understanding the Developer Mindset Conference on the 5 and 6 of November in London.

The first day of the conference included a variety of speakers and presentations focused on winning business and creating opportunities. This involved helping small practices understand the developer mindset and the cost of the decisions made on behalf of clients, in addition to tools and tactics to enrich a practice’s role as ‘architect-developers’.

On the second day, there were a range of CPD seminars covering all RIBA Core Curriculum topics through engaging sessions from expert practitioners. The two-day event was very informative and allowed us a chance to meet and connect with fellow architects.

Rob A’Bear and Damon Ball are both RIBA Chartered Members. As a global professional membership body, RIBA sets the standard for professional and educational excellence in the architecture industry.

Being a RIBA member demonstrates architects’ commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. The institute also helps us grow our network and provides us with practical resources to further our career development.
