Recent site visits to a range of our in-progress projects

At A’Bear and Ball Architects LLP, our team continues to be extremely busy delivering high-quality projects on site for a range of our clients!

Recently, we made a lot of site visits to a number of our projects that are currently under construction. It’s been really nice to see these schemes taking shape, and we look forward to when they finish on site and we can share completion photos!

Four of our recent site visits across our regional area include a self-build project in Oxfordshire, a garden room in Hampshire, a renovation and extension in Wiltshire, and a remodelling and extension scheme in Berkshire.

A self-build home in Appleton, Oxfordshire

Our self-build scheme in Appleton is coming along nicely. Grey standing seam metal roofing and most of the windows now installed, awaiting infill cladding and metal fascia’s to the projecting gables along with the ground floor external insulation and thin coat render over the existing brickwork. Our client is doing a fantastic job with the build quality!

A contemporary glazed garden room in Hannington, Wiltshire

Work has commenced on-site at our project at Lower Farm. The rear lean-to extension has been taken down to make way for a contemporary glazed garden room. We look forward to seeing the progress made on site over the coming weeks!

An extension and renovation project in Swindon, Wiltshire

Work has been progressing on an extension, loft conversion and renovation project we are the lead architects on in Old Town, Swindon. The zinc cladding to the dormer and first floor extension has been installed by Austen Dawson. Internally, the first fix services are continuing and the insulation and plaster-boarding is well underway.

A remodelling and extension in Newbury, Berkshire

Works to form the new openings in the side and rear of this existing house in Newbury have recently been completed by Blue Tongue Construction. Alongside this, works to form the pool shell have been completed by Guncast Pools & Wellness. Work is now ongoing to re-slate the existing roof in CUPA PIZARRAS R12 roofing slates and to form the lower level of the new basement extension.
