A’Bear and Ball Architects commissioned for fourth self-build home in Graven Hill

Recently, A’Bear & Ball Architects LLP was commissioned to design the Practice’s fourth self-build home in Graven Hill. This is on the back of delivering three successful contemporary self-build projects in the development.

Located in Bicester, Oxfordshire, Graven Hill is the largest self and custom build community in the UK. Within the development, self-builders have the opportunity to create an exemplary home without the worry, hassle and risk of a planning battle on their hands.

Growing track record of designing self-build homes

In the past four years, A’Bear & Ball Architects has worked on a number of self-build homes. We have an extensive and growing track record of designing and delivering contemporary self builds with low energy designs.

One of our most recent self-build homes that completed last year was even named the Best Timber Frame Home at the 2020 Build It Awards. Additionally, Partner Damon Ball undertook his own self-build project in 2015, providing valuable hands-on experience.

Promoting and supporting the self-build industry

A’Bear & Ball Architects is members of the National Custom & Self Build Association (NaCSBA). The NaCSBA is the voice of the custom and self-build housing sector. As members, we want to continue helping promote and suppot the self-build sector.

The Practice is excited to be a part of the NaCSBA community. And we look forward to working on more self-build projects in the years to come and hope to be a part of even more in the exciting Graven Hill development too.
