A’Bear & Ball Architects LLP has been working on the design of eight contemporary homes on the site of a redundant garage in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The proposals include four two-bedroom townhouses and four one-bedroom flats.
The material palette includes multi buff brick and a contrasting standing seam metal cladding for the upper floors and roofs. Additionally, the units will have low energy credentials and high quality, flexible living spaces commensurate with modern living.
Recently, the proposals were submitted in a full planning application by Walsingham Planning to the Vale of White Horse District Council. As lead architects on the project, A’Bear & Ball Architects is looking forward to seeing this scheme progress further through the planning process.
